    UEC's business covers multi-product types like product research and development, systemic integration, software development and system operating and maintenance, as well as professional project management method based on all fields (MBOK, R&D/systemic integration/ software integration : ISO9000 and CMMI; operation and maintenance, ITIL and ISO20000). It established the scientific and advanced project management system meeting its demand which experienced verification and improvement during the project implementing process of these years and are still optimizing presently.

    UEC’s PM system is the most important core competitiveness and our confidence to promise customers with successful project practice. UEC has established PMO and service quality management department to take charge of sustainable optimization of project management system, unified project supervision and quality assurance.

    UEC’s PM methodology is based on the following five key principles.

    1. Make joint discussion with customers on the definition of measurement standards of successful projects and take them as agreed standards and value of the two parties.

    2. Formulate detailed project plan and clearly define project phases and delivery achievements of each phase. Disintegrate a large complex task into quantitative and executive working items. Clearly define the working results for individual working items to be achieved so as to guarantee the overall objectives of projects achieved.

    3. Communicate well with customers. Make customers learn about project progress through regular meeting system, weekly report and monthly report. Thus guarantee that project delivery meets customers’ expectation.

    4. Clearly define project organizational structure and working responsibility and formulate corresponding assessment standards and methods, so as to guarantee all parties of project can work cooperatively and efficiently.

    5. Establish explicit specifications and system of document management, personnel management, configuration management, risk management, budget management, progress management, procurement management,integration management and change management so as to guarantee the whole quality of project and coordination of all links.
